Comparison of Netbook Laptops on the market

In 2007, Asus introduced netbook computers into the market but they lacked the quality of performance and the exceptional features that their laptop counterparts had. They also we much cheaper. Today, cheap netbooks are smaller and contain much more computing technology then before giving them the edge over laptop computers.
PDAs (Handheld PCs) are the predecessor to netbook computers. These types of computers have pretty much the same features that one could see in laptops such as large hard drives and friendly keyboard layouts that provide comfortable use. They first entered the markey in the 1990′s but they lacked many of the standard features of today’s netbook computers such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities and were much less popular with the public.
The first netbooks manufactured by Asus had excellent features such a tiny 7-inch led screen, smaller keyboard, and solid state hard drives.
Netbook computers are readily attainable all over the market. There is high possibility of advancement in improving the netbook laptop making it faster and more realiable. With the myriad of netbook laptop manufacturers in the market, it is becoming almost hopeless to find a netbook that best suits your needs. What makes it even harder is that the same hardware is built into almost every netbook.
Asus was the first and is now the best selling netbook laptop. Their best model, the 1005HA has a 160 GB harddisk, 10.1 inch led screen, Intel Atom processor, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi internet. The size of the keyboard is almost the size of a regular laptop’s!
The second best in the netbook arena is the Acer Aspire I. This netbook laptop is very small and is priced very low compared to other cheap netbooks. It gives the bang for the buck (so to speak) and has gained immense support from consumers. Some of the features of this netbook are a 10.1 inch screen, Windows 7, 1GB of RAM memory, Intel Atom N450 processor, a six-cell battery, and a 160 GB hard disk.
The third best selling netbook is the Lenova Idea Pad S12. This netbook laptop has a big 12 inch screen, Windows XP, full-sized keyboard, a six-cell battery, and an Intel Atom N270 processor. It is light-weight so it’s easy to take it with you wherever you need it to go without getting in your way.
Toshiba came into the netbook arena a bit later than other manufacturers. Their best netbooks have features very similar to the Lenova netbooks and are uniquely designed.
The HewlettePackard mini also ranks up there with Toshiba and came onto the scene later as well. Both brands of netbook computers are extremely durable, lightweight, and can be taken anywhere. They are great for business professionals that travel a lot as they are perfect to travel with.
